Coffee and good conversation. What more could you ask for? Today was my third day at Peet’s Coffee and Tea in Downtown Concord. I’m sure everyone knows feeling that I have right now… information overload and an overwhelming sense that I missed something?? Ya, I know it will get better, but wow. I forgot how hard it is to start a new job. It’s been a while since my brain had to retain and implement that much in such a short time. Really though, I don’t give it enough credit. I am having tons of fun; I can’t complain about getting free coffee, and my store is full of the most interesting people that I’ve had the pleasure to meet in a long time. It’s refreshing to find that there are real people out there (outside my friend and church bubble). Sometimes it’s easy to forget that.

Thanks to Jenny and Sharon, Jimmy and Danielle, and John for visiting me. It was a good day.
